I wrote these poems/songs about art history figures for my students, then turned them into a book. The drawings started happening after I fell in love with the Moon, and thus the character The Moona Lisa was born. Around the same time, I was also going on many flights. Whenever I was in the air, I would bring my sketchbook and draw on the plane. Many of these sketches ended up in the book.
