The 4th of July

The United States of America is a confusing place. The American dream much like this painting seams as elusive as an elusion. The painting is participating in this fantasy of striving for the American Dream while questioning whether America still has the power of the bestower. Is the tangled mess worth the struggle? We toil and struggle regardless.
